At Snow Hill in Birmingham, public realm improvements and landscape amenities are proposed to strengthen the sense of place and to start transforming this area into a place where people not only work but can also call and feel at home.
The design responds to the proposed building and the surrounding site conditions on the ground floor and proposes meaningful and practical amenities for residents on the roof terraces.
Our landscape proposals aim to:
• Integrate the proposed buildings into the existing and emerging context
• Enhance existing streetscape with planting and seating opportunities
• Create a new connection from Snow Hill Queensway and Weaman Street
• Provide truly useful amenities for residents
• Create welcoming spaces to be shared with neighbours
• Contribute to local ecological networks and biodiversity.
